Brush Pen Calligraphy & Ornament Lettering at Newberry Arts Center

This class will introduce you to basic brush pen calligraphy and teach you beginner techniques needed to begin your journey in Modern Calligraphy. You’ll learn about the tools and materials every calligrapher needs and how to use the brush pens, starting with basic strokes and moving into letter formation. We will end class by using your new skill to create hand lettered Christmas ornaments!  

This class is 1.5 hours of instruction and will include 2 starter calligraphy brush pens as well as calligraphy guides. It will also include 1 clear acrylic Christmas ornament!
